Invasive Purple Loosestrife is in Bloom Again

Purple Loosestrife

Purple Loosestrife is in bloom again but it’s easy to deal with especially if you catch it before it spreads.  It’s a beautiful color but tends to crowd out other native plants and take over an area.

We have information from Tip of the Mitt on identifying and controlling it here and more information here: SeaGrant Michigan – Purple Loosestrife
