Attention Members and Potential Members!
It’s been two years since we have had a Six Mile Lake Association Picnic. Can you believe it? And a lot has changed. Several new homes have been built on the lake and some members have moved on to different locations and new homeowners have taken their place. Several longtime members have passed away. So wouldn’t it be nice for all of us to get together and get reacquainted with neighbors we haven’t seen for awhile or never met?? That is the purpose of the picnic this year. Celebrating our friendship and neighbors and the lake we love. So mark your calendars for Saturday, August 14th at 4:30pm and come to Echo Twp Park. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service and whatever you want to drink. The Association is supplying the brats and hot dogs, and did I mention PRIZES?? Yes, our own Kathryn Bell will be doing her usual fantastic job of lining up prizes for the drawings….and we have a lot of drawings so almost everyone wins something. Gregg Valerio will be heading up the grilling crew and Linda VanAndel will be leading the set up crew and, of course, we are always looking for extra hands to help out so contact me if you are willing and I will get you to the right person. Also, if you have an extra table and chairs you can bring please do. The township picnic tables have slowly disintegrated and haven’t been replaced over the years. This is a splendid opportunity to get to know and meet neighbors both new and old. Plus, it’s always a fun time. Please set aside a couple hours out of your summer and plan on attending Saturday, August 14th at 4:30 pm at Echo Twp Park on Six Mile Lake Rd.
