The Board of Directors and I are pleased to announce that the new membership levels are now on the website. We’re happy to say that members are already taking advantage of them – thank you!
The deeded access members now have new choices for their membership and the new category “Friends of the Lake “ can join us at events and meetings with a membership.
Here’s a summary of the levels:
FAMILY MEMBERSHIP – $25.00 per Year.
Besides supporting the preservation of our lake and its natural surroundings and the family-friendly social events you’re sure attend throughout the year, annual membership to the Six Mile Lake Association includes member only area site access. You must have deeded access to the lake for this membership level. We will also bill your membership automatically each year so you’ll be sure to continue to enjoy uninterrupted access. You can cancel at any time.
PATRON MEMBERSHIP – $50.00 per Year.
The Patron Membership level is for those members who want to contribute above the Family Membership level and the Family Membership is included in their contribution. You must have deeded access to the lake for this membership level. We will also bill your membership automatically each year so you’ll be sure to continue to enjoy uninterrupted access. You can cancel at any time.
BENEFACTOR MEMBERSHIP – $100.00 per Year.
The Benefactor Membership level is for those members who want to contribute above the Family & Patron Membership levels and the Family Membership is included in their contribution. You must have deeded access to the lake for this membership level. We will also bill your membership automatically each year so you’ll be sure to continue to enjoy uninterrupted access. You can cancel at any time.
LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP – $500.00 One-Time
This one-time payment gives you full membership rights for life. You must have deeded access to the lake for this membership level.
FRIENDS OF THE LAKE (NON-VOTING) – $50.00 per Year.
The Friends of the Lake level (non voting) may attend events and meetings. This membership level does not require deeded access to the lake and is great for local businesses and organizations who want to support the association. This membership renews automatically each year unless cancelled.
You can make changes to your membership level at any time by logging into your membership account. Please click Association then Member Area, as shown below:
For security reasons, you may need to enter your login information twice; on different login screens.
The login information you should enter is your login you set-up when you originally signed-up for membership. This is NOT your PayPal login. See this document (specifically page 2) if you need a reminder of the original sign-up process: Basic Instructions For Setting Up Annual Recurring Membership Payments.
At this time, the membership system will not automatically give you credit for any remaining time left on your current membership. The treasurer would be happy to credit back the balance left from your current membership level to your PayPal account after you change your membership level. Alternately, if you would prefer to donate the difference to the association, the association would certainly appreciate that as well! Just send us a message here and let us know what you would like us to do with the difference, if any.
