Although they stayed on the nest all day we never saw a second loon chick. Once it stops raining, if it ever does, we&#8217;ll check the platform and see if there was a second egg or if there is any evidence that a second chick hatched and was lost. Once again, we are asking that everyone watch out for both loon families while they are busy raising their young.
