I hope every one of you will have a beautiful Christmas Season and a very Happy New Year.
If you missed the Six Mile Lake Association Christmas Party you missed a good one. It was very festive and relaxing. I tried to get pictures of everyone. There were 40 folks that attended.
On a different note it has been raining almost non-stop for three weeks now. It’s Christmas Eve day as I write this and we finally have a break in the clouds. The lake levels are very high once again, however, the temps have been mild with records being set everywhere. This winter I plan on posting pictures often to let everyone know, who checks the website on a regular basis, what the conditions are. Hopefully, water levels will go down and we’ll have a mild winter.
As I write this there have been massive power outages all over Northern Michigan. Six Mile Lake once again lost power last night due to high winds and lots of downed trees but power was restored this morning. This marks the second power outage on Six Mile Lake in the past couple of weeks. The bright side of this is no massive amounts of snow have fallen (yet) and no tornadoes!
