Greetings Members,
Just a short notice to let you know that the issue with our post office box has been straightened out so please remail your dues if you happen to be one of our members who had their dues returned. We did not know there was an issue until a couple members notified us so thank you and re apologize for the mix up.
For those members who haven’t sent in dues yet please do so or you can pay through PayPal. August is our traditional time to pay.
Reminder that the meeting in September is on the 17th at 9am at the Pleasant Valley Free Methodist Church. Elections will take place at this time so please try to attend.
We had a great turnout for the picnic with many new faces. We are always looking for volunteers as well but it was nice to see folks we have never met. We have had a beautiful summer with water levels finally returning to where they should be. The Antrim County dam operator announced that he is retiring at the end of the year so if you know of anyone QUALIFIED to take his place (he admitted at the hydrology presentation in July that he was neither a hydrologist or engineer) keep your eyes peeled to the Antrim County website and let them know if the job opens up.
