PLM will be out this Tuesday June 10th to spot treat Six Mile Lake.
Saturday, June 14th is the Annual Six Mile Lake Association breakfast at 10am at Pleasant Valley Free Methodist Church at the end of Six Mile Lake Rd. Bring a dish to pass. Leslie Meyers will be the guest speaker. Topic: important information about flooding on the Upper Chain.
Saturday, June 21st is the Echo Township Spring Clean-Up. Echo Twp website shows what is acceptable to drop off. This is a free service for Echo Twp residents and property owners.
There are also several dates for hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, insecticides, poisons) drop off sites around Antrim County. Go to the Antrim County Conservation District website for dates and locations.
Both pairs of loons each have two tiny chicks. Both pairs continue to use their respective platforms. We will remove these once the loons are no longer utilizing them. Meanwhile please keep a sharp eye out for both pairs and the chicks as they frequently travel across the lake during peak boating times.
