At the June 8th meeting members of the Six Mile Lake Association gathered and voted to donate to $5,000 (which was matched) to ensure that 105 acres on the lake were protected by Little Traverse Conservancy.
This special piece of land is now open to you and your family to enjoy and explore. The preserve was named in memory of a young man who loved Six Mile Lake and who dreamed of one day owning a place of his own here.
The Nathan Beem Memorial Preserve will now forever stand in his memory.
