Dear Members,
This is another communication to you regarding the possibility of Antrim County Operator of Dams, Leslie Meyers, request to the Charlevoix County Commissioners to have the authority to pursue funding via a Special Assessment District or SAD for the replacement of the Ellsworth Culvert and upgrades to the Bellaire Dam which controls water levels on the Chain. For those of us on Six Mile Lake it has become a critical because of the many years of flooding during spring thaw and unprecedented rain events.
This Wednesday, December 10th at 9:30 am the Charlevoix County Commissioners will be discussing this and it is imperative that Six Mile Lake property owners either attend this meeting or send an email to these commissioners encouraging them to allow Leslie to go forward. If you can attend public comment will be at the beginning of this meeting. The address is Shirely Roloff Center, 13513 Division St, Charlevoix. Or send an email to the commissioners at the addresses below and attach any photos of flooding you have.

We absolutely do not have any time to waste. The Association Membership does not include every single property owner on the lake so please notify your neighbors about this or spread the word by passing this email along.
